Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of gem scheelite from California!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex single crystal of scheelite and has a relatively sharp habit for the locality!!! The crystal is a complete floater with no point of attachment!!! This crystal has a somewhat velvety luster due to complex surface features, however it is clear from its internal play of light that the crystal is remarkably gemmy!!!
