Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of scheelite from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of a highly complex quartz crystal that hosts a rich showing of complex, tan colored scheelite crystals!!! The scheelite crystals exhibit complexly modified octahedral habits that show unusual, compressed habits!!! The quartz crystal is actually quite complete all around and appears to be a complex group of intergrown, compressed, tabular crystals!!! This specimen retains old labels from the Hageman Collection, Ward's, and the University of Delaware Mineralogical Museum!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
