Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of sapphire from this famous gem locality!!! This specimen consists of a characteristic, doubly terminated crystal of sky blue sapphire!!! The crystal shows typical alluvial rounding yet still has well defined faces and form!!! The crystal has marked clarity and shows slight zones and faint "stripes" of darker blue colors in areas!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
