Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species in unusual association from Brazil!!! This specimen consists of a well formed cluster of samarskite crystals with numerous epitaxial crystals of columbite!!! This is a rare and unusual combination indeed!!! The samarskite crystals are well terminated and complete!!! The columbite crystals have a dark, jet black color with lustrous, complexly modified faces!!! The combination is actually quite handsome in person!!! This unusual beauty is much sharper and showier than the pictures show!!!
