Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare species from the (co)type locale in Chile!!! This specimen hosts a striking display of intensely colored salesite crystals on matrix!!! Often the salesite crystals are on lighter colored matrix, however this darker colored matrix really seems to amplify the salesite's already intense color!!! The salesite crystals are very well formed and are quite impressive under close inspection!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
