Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of this very rare and intensely colorful copper iodide from Chile!!! Let me start off by saying that this is a killer example of the species and WAY better than the pics show!!! The salesite is much more crystalline than the pics show - these are thick, chunky crystals exhibiting highly complex features with marked luster and gemmy clarity!!! The color is a stunning blue green that is unlike any other mineral species!!! There are some highly complex, unidentified emerald green crystals in association as well!!! This is a KILLER example of this very rare species - WAY better than the pics show!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
