A superb example of this rare and sought-after demantoid garnet varietal. This aesthetic specimen consists of an intensely colored .3" single crystal proudly perched on contrasting white matrix. Let me start off by saying that the color in these photos is NOT at all accurate. In person the color is a brilliant and rich apple green under regular lighting conditions, and even more intense beyond that in sunlight. If you have seen these specimens in person you know the color I am talking about! For some reason my camera just couldn't pick up the color. This specimen is WAY better than the pics even beyond where the color is concerned. I guarantee that you will be more than impressed, especially for the price!
