An extraordinary old time native bismuth specimen from the type locale. This specimen has absolutely amazing, brilliantly metallic bismuth crystals. The crystals have fantastic striations and patina. The pics don't even come close to doing this specimen justice. There is a picture that shows a partial view of the reverse side of the specimen where you can see that the surface shows a pinkish hue. This pink color is likely due to the presence of bieberite. An amazing specimen in all regards.
