Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of rutile from North Carolina!!! This specimen consists of a characteristically twinned crystal of rutile!!! This specimen exihibits a sharp, classic v-twin!!! The crystal has glassy luster and deep reddish color with lively reddish highlights!!! The crystal does not have complete terminations but rather, partial and complex hollowed forms instead!!! This specimen displays quite handsomely in person and is from the collection of Ernie Schlicter!!! This specimen retains its original Schlicter label and detailed notecard as well!!!
