Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of rutile from this classic locale!!! This specimen consists of a pair of conjoined crystals that exhibit characteristic form for the locality!!! The crystals are quite stout and thick with highly complex features!!! The crystals have a rich, dark reddish-brown color with handsome red highlights throughout!!! The crystals have marked luster and sharp, complete terminations!!! The specimen is in terrific condition and much of what might appear to be damage in the pics are actually just highly complex features!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
