Description/Interesting Notes: An amazing example of ruby corundum from this seldom referenced California locale!!! We recently acquired a few specimens from this location that represent the BEST specimens yet recovered from a single, isolated find!!! This specimen was among the very best specimens in the lot!!! For the locality this is an EXCEPTIONAL specimen!!!orgeous!!! This specimen is LOADED with sharp, purplish red ruby crystals to 1cm!!! The crystals have marked translucence, sharpness, and luster - they are of remarkable quality for the locality!!! There are also some small, brightly metallic, complex pyrite crystals in association as well!!! An incredible California ruby indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
