This specimen represents one of the best examples I have seen of ruby from this locality!!! This specimen hosts several sharp crystals with rich color, marked translucence, and significant size for the locale!!! Most of the crystals from this locality are nowhere near this quality, and rarely this sharp!!! The compound crystals are also quite unusual!!! Simply a killer example of California ruby!!!
