Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent example of ruby from Greenland!!! This specimen consists of a deep green matrix of crystalline pargasite that hosts an impressive showing of intensely colorful ruby crystals!!! The ruby crystals exhibit a highly complex, almost botryoidal habit with exceptional ruby red color and marked translucence!!! Upon close inspection, the pargasite has highly lustrous faces and sharply defined crystal faces!!! The ruby crystals stand out in lively contrast to the pargasite matrix!!!
