Rhodochrosite pseudomorph after Fossil Shell Kerch Peninsula, Crimea peninsula, Crimea Oblast', Ukraine 4.14cm x 3.46cm x 2.05cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A amazing example of rhodochrosite from the Kerch Peninsula!!! This specimen consists of a fossil shell that has been completely replaced by pink rhodochrosite!!! Being hollow in the middle, this specimen is essentially a rhodochrosite geode!!! Inside, there is a portion of solid rhodochrosite that has a botryoidal surface and there is also a small yellow crystal of barite perched in there as well!!! Simply an incredible specimen indeed!!!
