Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of proustite from Peru!!! This specimen hosts an absolutely pristine, gem clear, ruby red crystal of proustite proudly perched on a light pink layer of rhodochrosite and quartz!!! Upon close inspection, one can find other proustite crystals tucked in the recesses and numerous tiny pearceite crystals in association (and with magnification, one can even find a few tiny silver wires!)!!!
