Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of rhodochrosite from South Africa!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, gem crystal of rhodochrosite!!! The crystal has sharp glassy faces, gem clarity, and rich pink-red color!!! There are a few tiny black, bladed crystals of manganite perched on one of the faces as well!!! The gem clarity and sharp faces make for lively play of light within!!! The crystal is complete and undamaged!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
