Description/Interesting Notes: An incredible example of rhodochrosite from Minnesota!!! This specimen came out of an old collection and originally consisted of a large specimen with just a few tiny areas of visible rhodochrosite however, upon trimming it yeilded a stunning vug of superb orange-pink rhodochrosite crystals!!! The crystals are of exceptional quality - razor sharp, glassy, and gem clear!!! There are crystals of rhodochrosite visible on the side and reverse as well!!! For the locality this is an extraordinary specimen indeed!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope this specimen is truly extraordinary!!!
