Inakuraishi mine, Shakotan peninsula, Shiribeshi Province, Hokkaido Island, Japan

9.32cm x 4.52cm x 3.64cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A classic example of rhodochrosite from Japan!!! This specimen hosts a layer of light pink botryoidal rhodochrosite atop a thick section of concentric layers of gemmy rhodochrosite!!! Rare, classic material!!! This specimen retains an old Japanese label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JULY 9th!!!
