Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of rhodochrosite with quartz, pyrite, and tetrahedrite from Romania!!! This specimen consists of a handsome cluster of lustrous pink crystals of rhodochrosite in association with numerous scattered groups of quartz crystals, brilliant golden pyrite crystals and sharp black metallic tetrahedrite crystals!!! The rhodochrosite crystals are present as mounds and balls of lustrous, saddle-shaped crystals!!! The quartz crystals are mostly present as scattered sprays and groups of crystals rather than just scattered points!!! The pyrite crystals have a gorgeous, deep brassy hue and the tetrahedrite crystals have razor-sharp form!!! This specimen is in pristine condition all around and displays magnificently in person!!!
