This specimen hosts several complex, curiously rounded crystals of rhodchrosite perched on a smartly contrasting, darkly colored matrix!!! The crystals have glassy luster and gemmy clarity!!! The color is quite unique, almost having a slightly orange-red quality to them which, combined with their oddly rounded habit, gives them the appearance of salmon roe!!!
