Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of rhodochrosite with willemite and franklinite from Franklin!!! This specimen consists of a handsome mass of rich pink rhodochrosite in association with jet black franklinite and some yellowish crystals of willemite!!! This is OLD material that likely dates to the 19th century!!! This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains its original Seaman Museum label with George A. Koenig Collection (1844-1913) notation as well as an additional even older, hand-scripted label!!! The willemite exhibits a bright yellow-green fluorescence under SW UV!!!
