Renierite with Pyrite & Fluorite Inexco Mine, Jamestown District, Boulder Co., Colorado 5.4cm x 4.3cm x 2.9cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of renierite from Colorado!!! This specimen consists of a mass of purple fluorite, pyrite, and quartz that hosts numerous areas of renierite throughout!!! The renierite is present as somewhat orangey-golden to iridescent metallic material in masses and veins scattered about the specimen!!! The pyrite is rather lightly colored in contrast to the renierite and the difference is quite distinct in person!!! This specimen came from a single larger specimen acquired from the Colorado Suite of the Jenkins collection!!! A terrific example of this rare species from Colorado!!!
