Description/Interesting Notes: A large example of this rare gem species!!! This specimen consists of an unusually large single crystal of red beryl!!! The crystal is doubly terminated and complete all around!!! While the crystal is largely opaque, there are areas of gemmy clarity and the crystal has rich red color!!! The faces are sharply defined and show marked luster on every face!!! There are several interpenetrant and parallel associated crystals as well!!!
