Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of red beryl from Utah!!! This specimen consists of an intensely colored crystal of red beryl prominently perched on a lightly colored rhyolitic matrix!!! The crystal exhibits sharp hexagonal form with bright, glassly luster and clarity that ranges from translucent to gemmy!!! The crystal is doubly terminated and measures over 1cm!!! The crystal appears to be slightly bent and either frozen in place by the matrix or slightly rehealed - however it quite handsome and showy in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
