Description/Interesting Notes: A superb example of quartz from Connecticut!!! This specimen consists of a razor sharp group of highly lustrous parallel associated quartz crystals on a matrix of tiny quartz points and altered siderite!!! This specimen is absolutely pristine and is simply stunning in person!!! The quartz crystal has an ever so slight zones of smokiness in person!!! The pics don't even come close to doing this gem justice!!! This specimen was collected in 1975 from a small, one time find that was accessible for just a short time during road construction!!!
