Pyromorphite

Brookdale Mine, Phoenixville mining District, Schuylkill Township, Chester Co., Pennsylvania

10.1cm x 5.1cm x 5.6cm

Ex. Fred Parker Collection

Description/Interesting Notes:

A magnificent, old time example of pyromorphite from this historic Pennsylvania locale!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of intense green pyromorphite on matrix!!! The pyromorphite exhibits a most unusual morphology for the locality - showing rounded, almost botryoidal forms in addition to more characteristic crystals!!! The pyromorphite appears to exhibit two distinctly different hues as well - with much or the material showing a lively intense green color!!! This specimen was acquired from well known Eastcoast collector Fred Parker!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY APRIL 18th!!!
