Pyromorphite

Kommern, Mechernich, Eifel, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

8.76cm x 9.2cm x 3.7cm

Ex. L. L. Hubbard Collection (1849-1933)

Ex. A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum #DM-11919

Description/Interesting Notes:

A rare, old time example of pyromorphite from this historic locale!!! This specimen hosts a striking showing of rich green pyromorphite crystals discretely scatter across the matrix!!! The crystals have sharp, lustrous faces and rich green color!!! This material dates to the 19th century and specimens from this locale are quite scarce indeed!!! This specimen retains an old label from the A.E. Seaman Museum with L. L. Hubbard (1849-1933) Collection notation!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently in person!!! Rare historic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY MARCH 28th!!!
