Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of pyrite from this seldom referenced Colorado locality!!! This specimen consists of a showy cluster of pyrite crystals!!! The pyrite crystals have sharp cubic form with brilliant metallic luster!!! The cubic crystals have attractively striated faces and complexly modified corners!!! This old time beauty is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently in person!!! This specimen came from old material that came from the A.E. Seaman Museum - the material had not been catalogued but was noted as coming from the German mineralogist B. Klose!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
