Acanthite & Polybasite pseudomorph after Pyrargyrite with Quartz Guanajuato, Mun. de Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico 2.26cm x 1.23cm x 1.14cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare double pseudomorph of acanthite after polybasite after pyrargyrite from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a prismatic crystal of pyrargyrite that has been completely replaced by a dense network of intergrown plates of polybasite that were subsequently replaced by microcrystalline acanthite!!! In addition to the pseudomorphous acanthite, there are numerous sharply cubic crystals of acanthite in association as well!!! There is also a second smaller pyrargyrite pseudomorph and a lone quartz crystal in association as well!!! The original pyrargyrite crystal's form is still sharply retained and its faces are much more pronounced in person!!! This specimen is complete and undamaged!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
