A magnificent, old time example of pyrargyrite from this classic locale!!! This specimen consists of a complex group of sharp, lustrous crystal of pyrargyrite!!! The crystals have razor sharp faces with brilliant luster and very dark reddish color!!! The main crystal shows prominent twinning as well!!! The crystals are complete and the specimen is in magnificent condition all around!!! Upon close inspection there are some areas of whitish calcite and some minute, dark brassy prismatic crystals of an unidentified species present as well!!! With significant backlighting one can see areas of red highlights within!!! This is a magnificent old time pyrargyrite from this famed historic locale!!! Classic material!!!
