Proustite with Argentopyrite Shaft 366, Alberoda, Schlema-Hartenstein District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany 3.43cm x 2.6cm x 1.55cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of proustite and argentopyrite from Germany!!! This specimen hosts a complex network of ruby red proustite crystals on one side and a magnificent showing of rare argentopyrite crystals on the other!!! The proustite is much better crystallized than it appears in the pictures - consisting of lustrous, elongated parallel crystal groups simultaneously show their luster in one dramatic flash - almost like a schiller effect!!! The argentopryite crystals are simply incredible for the species!!! There are both tiny crystals of argentopyrite scattered amongst the proustite and tiny proustite crystals scattered amongst the argentopyrite crystals!!!
