Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of powellite on brochantite from Chile!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of sharp, yellow-green powellite crystals prominently perched on a matrix covered with bright emerald green needles of brochantite!!! The powellite crystals have marked translucence with glassy luster and sharp faces!!! The powellite crystals are significantly sized!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one can see that tere are some thick, significant brochantite crystals in addition to the finer acicular ones as well!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays quite handsomely in person!!! The powellite crystals fluoresce a bright yellow under SW UV as well!!! Older material!!!
