Description/Interesting Notes: A large, old time example of polybasite from this seldom referenced Canadian locality!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of massive polybasite in association with chalcopyrite!!! This specimen came out of old, institutional material and retains an old handwritten label!!! Although it has not been analyzed, I am told this specimen likely hosts cupropolybasite (type locality)!!! There is a lot more going on with this specimen than the pics show!!! Rare old material!!!
