Pharmacosiderite

Wheal Gorland, St Day United Mines, Gwennap, Camborne - Redruth - St Day District, Cornwall, England

5.2cm x 3.7cm x 3.43cm

Ex. Howard Belsky

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic example of pharmacosiderite from Cornwall!!! Let me start off by saying that this specimen is way, WAY better than these pics show!!! The digital camera cannot accurately capture the intense green color of the crystals - in person the color is a unique and characteristic bright green!!! For some reason, digital cameras have trouble accurately capturing the color of some mineral species, pharmacosiderite among them!!! The crystals are significantly sized, sharp, lustrous, and gemmy!!! This is simply a terrific, old time example of the species from Cornwall!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY AUGUST 16th!!!
