Opalized Wood with Precious Opal Virgin Valley District, Humboldt Co., Nevada 8.13cm x 4.9cm x 4.6cm

Description/Interesting Notes: This specimen conists of a partial tree limb that has been completely petrified by opal!!! There are several different colors of opal throughout, both opaque and translucent, and there are also significant areas of precious opal as well!!! This specimen was from an older collection and could likely be cleaned or trimmed further to reveal more exciting features if so desired!!! The specimen is solid opal!!!
