Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare silver bearing species from Nevada!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of pavonite distributed throughout a quartz matrix and in association with some hodrushite!!! Numerous significant masses of darkly colored metallic pavonite can be seen on each side of the specimen!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or a scope a few tiny, submillimeter crystals of pavonite can be seen as well!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
