Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of this rare and sought after tourmaline varietal!!! This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that hosts an intensely
colorful crystal of true cuprian elbaite "Paraiba tourmaline" in association with several other smaller crystals!!! This is classic material from the
original finds at this famous locality!!! Good examples of true cuprian elbaite are next to impossible to acquire!!! The scant amount of
material found is highly controlled because of its extraordinary value!!! The crystal measures well over 3cm and has sharp, lustrous faces along its length!!!
The most striking feature however is its color - the color is INREDIBLE in person!!! This crystal truly has the sought after intense blue color in person - although it looks more green in the pictures, this specimen is BLUE with
just a hint of green!!! The color is CHOICE!!! There is a significant portion of the crystal that shows some gemmy clarity as well!!! Simply a
fantastic example of this fabled tourmaline varietal!!! Specimens of Paraiba tourmaline like this are quite scarce indeed!!! Don't miss out on this rare opportunity!!!
