Osarizawaite with Philipsbornite

Grand View Mine, Cape Royal, Horseshoe Mesa, Grand Canyon National Park, Grandview District, Coconino Co., Arizona

5.4cm x 3.5cm x 2.7cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic example of this rare species from the Grand View Mine!!! While the microcrystalline osarizawaite crystals from the Silver Hill occurence are much better known, these rare crystals from the Grand View mine are present as eye-visible crystals of intense blue color that represent the finest examples of the species known!!! This specimen hosts numerous groups of lustrous, gemmy, intensely colored eye-visible crystals in association with philipsbornite!!! These examples of osarizawaite from the Grand View Mine are extremely rare indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice - must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 30th!!!
