Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of "oakstone" baryte from England!!! This specimen hosts a selectively polished botryoid of "oakstone" baryte on matrix!!! Oakstone baryte is so named for its characteristic wood grain-like appearance!!! Usually these specimens are only seen as polished, massive material however what is great about this specimen is that it shows some of the actual outer crystallization AND it is on matrix!!!
