Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of nickelskutterudite var. chloanthite from this classic German locale!!! This specimen hosts an impressive showing of sharp, brilliantly metallic crystals of nickelskutterudite var. chloanthite in association with sparkling crystals of safflorite, translucent tan siderite crystals, and a dusting of pink erythrite on a matrix of intergrown barite blades and massive siderite!!! The nickelskutterudite var. chloanthite crystals exhibit sharp cubic forms with octahedral modifications and range in size to over 7mm!!! The crystals are much more significant and prominent than the pictures show!!! In person this specimen is quite showy and lively all around!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
