Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of this rare silver selenide from Nevada!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of naumannite in a quartz matrix!!! The naumannite is present as rich, dense masses of dark grayish metallic naumannite!!! Upon close inspection, there are some significant, eye visible crystals of naumannite present as well!!! The naumannite crystals are highly complex, flattened crystals and, with a loupe or scope, one can see even more greater detail and numerous submillimeter crystals scattered about!!! This is a killer example of this rare species indeed!!! This specimen retains an old label from a noted dealer/analyst as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
