Natrolite

Pahau River, Canterbury, South Island, New Zealand

2.7cm x 2.5cm x 1.4cm

Ex. R. Jacobsen Collection

Description/Interesting Notes:

An absolutely exceptional example of natrolite from this rare New Zealand locale!!! This specimen consists of a striking spray of natrolite crystals!!! The crystals radiate dramatically in 360 degrees!!! The crystals have marked translucence, bright luster, and sharp, lustrous terminations!!! The specimen is in magnificent condition all around!!! This is an exceptional example of the species for the locale!!! This specimen has been left on its original mounting that retains its original label (dated 1982) on the reverse (although the specimen could easily be removed if so desired)!!! Simply gorgeous!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JULY 26th!!!
