Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of muscovite from New York City!!! This specimen consists of a group of large, very well formed and sharply defined crystals of muscovite!!! This specimen is quite handsome and showy in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! These old time New York City specimens are quite scarce, and for obvious reasons - over the next few auctions I will be listing other old NYC specimens that we have acquired over time, so don't miss out!!! This specimen retains old labels from the Sunshine Acres School (a very "unique" fully accredited private school - circa 1939, it was part of the nation's first Nudist colony), and the Wintringham Collection!!!
