A fantastic example of this very rare copper iodate from Russia!!! These specimens are a recent small find that first
trickled onto the market at the Denver show, however some higher quality specimens are now available!!! This
specimen consists of a sharp, compound crystal of marshite that has completely replaced a
cuprite crystal!!! There are still some traces of cuprite left behind - thus the reddish color!!!
This specimen represents a very large and significant crystal for the species!!! This specimen is complete and undamaged!!!
This material seems to be in very short supply and is commanding
very high prices here in Tucson!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
