Malachite pseudomorph after Cuprite Chessy-les-Mines, Rhône, Rhône-Alpes, France .94cm x 1.02cm x .77cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of malachite after cuprite from France!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, single crystal of cuprite that has been completely replaced by malachite!!! The crystal is a single floater with no point of attachment and exhibits the characteristic habit for the locality!!! The specimen is complete all around and displays terrifically all around!!!
