Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of malachite from Germany!!! This specimen consists of a vuggy limonitic matrix that hosts a spray of thick, sharply terminated crystals of deep green malachite!!! The crystals are really quite spectacular in person!!! There is a small amount of somewhat massive cerussite scattered about the matrix as well!!! This specimen dates to the 19th century and retains old Krantz and Michigan College of Mines labels!!! The pics don't even come close to doing this fantastic old time malachite justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
