Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of magnetite from Franklin!!! This specimen is comprised entirely of complex, intergrown magnetite crystals!!! The pictures say it all!!! Quite striking in person!!! This specimen retains an old label from legendary Franklin collector Ewald Gerstmann (Ewald Gerstmann's Private Museum)!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen is from the Albert Peppis Collection and retains his original label!!!
