Liroconite

Wheal Gorland, Gwennap, Camborne - Redruth - St Day District, Cornwall, England

1.7cm x 1.23cm x 1.21cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A classic, old time example of this rare "Holy Grail" mineral species from Cornwall!!! These rare 19th century beauties are highly sought after and with such stunning color - unlike that of anything else in the mineral kingdom, it is easy to understand why!!! This specimen consists of a small amount of matrix that hosts a very rich coverage of intensely colored liroconite crystals!!! The liroconite crystals are sharp, lustrous, and significant!!! The crystals have marked clarity and exhibit choice blue color!!! The specimen is simply electric in person!!! This specimen displays quite handsomely in person!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY APRIL 21st!!!
