Description/Interesting Notes: PLEASE NOTE: This is a special "Holiday Listing" and will be ending on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 28th A magificent, old time example of this rare species from the type locality in Germany!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of crystalline siegenite!!! The crystals are very sharply defined and have brilliantly metallic luster!!! There are crystals visible on nearly every side of the specimen!!! This is an absolutely magnificent example of the species for the locality!!! While the old museum label identifies this specimen as "Cobalt + Nickel" the even older affixed label identifies it with the antiquated German term for both linnaeite and siegenite "Kobaltnickelkeis"!!! These old time specimens are very scarce indeed, and date back to the later half of the 19th century!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
