Linarite with Caledonite, Cerussite, & Leadhillite

Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine, St. Anthony deposit, Tiger, Mammoth District, Pinal Co., Arizona

2.46cm x 2.06cm x 1.34cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A terrific example of linarite with caledonite from Tiger!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of crystalline linarite and bright blue-green caledonite in association with a matrix comprised of small, intergrown crystals of cerussite and leadhillite!!! The linarite is present as highly complex crystals with intense royal blue color, glassy luster, and translucent to gemmy clarity!!! The linarite is much more crystalline and complete than the pics show!!! There are areas of intense blue green, microcrystalline caledonite present as well!!! Upon close examination, the remainder of the specimen can be seen to be a network of cerussite and leadhillite crystals!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
